Hind House by John Pardey Architects is the river house, which allows you to enjoy the views of the river Loddon, near Wargrave especially during the flood. The whole house is made of a steel cover with wood paneling. Hind House was built on the beams, so that the car can be parked directly under the house. And when the river overflows its banks, it is possible to park the boats under the floor of the river house. (more…)

Although it is not a fact that you will be able to get home in the city faster then out the city, because of the speed of traffic jams. But apparently the desire to become the owner of the house in London is stronger.
