Private house Casa Kike by GBA
Rather creative people draw their inspiration in the creative simplicity. Simple wooden house Casa Kike by Gianni Botsford Architects is not so easy and it is located in Cahuita, Costa Rica. Not for nothing is this modern house won the 2008 Lubetkin Prize, a RIBA International Award 2008, and an Institution of Structural Engineers 2008 Structural Award.
Each room of that private residence represents not only the walls, ceiling and floor, and the geometric idea, which is embodied skillful in reality. For example, intersecting wooden beams on the ceiling go to the wall with books from the main studio at home, which is also located a grand piano and a desk. This creates the impression of a harmonious compatibility with the very form of the premises. A glass facade of a wooden house opens a beautiful view from the working area to the nature and obviously it opens new ways of inspiration.
In addition the private house Casa Kike is designed on the beams above the ground, which gives the house a kind of homes that are located on the beaches near the ocean. The roof, which smoothly passes into the outer wall of the house is such a mono frame, which is becoming increasingly popular in the creation of original homes.[Casa Kike by GBA]
