Modern Chile house by Tidy Architects

Joint work of architects and future owners of a home is probably one of the most important conditions for success of the architectural project. Tidy Architects built the house around Santiago, Chile, while fully satisfied all the needs of owners. House, created by the brothers Albert and Ien Tidy, is built in the Californian style. This waterfront house has a ocean view from the main facade, from the other side there is little backyard.

At the core of the building is a steel frame, glass facade moves into the facade stained pine planks. Because of this, the outside it seems that this is a two-store modern house, although it is the house of one store, but with high ceilings. Wooden covered deck also made of pine boards. Modern wooden House is divided into 2 spaces: for the adult and child. And the place of separation is the kitchen, which is located in the middle of the house and enter to the deck of the house. The house pool has the special system which allows a second use of oily water from the pool for watering the garden.

House was engaged the hostess herself, who worked as a designer in France. And it’s realized in the decorating of the home interior and design, which has acquired the French elegance in each room. [Tidy Architects]
