Loblolly House by Stiven Kieran

loblolly_house

House on legs, just so you can characterize the work of the architect Stiven Kieran. Architect, I think, with even greater love creating Loblolly House, since he did it for himself. It is situated on Taylors Island, Maryland. The design of the house is a frame made of aluminum beams and pillars, and the voids are filled with wooden panels, which are also used in the creating the floor. But the western facade of glass panels set up for better view of the sea. 2,200 square-foot residence is divided into 2 parts: the lower floor is a public area, and the upper floor – a privet part with bedrooms. The interior design is created so as not to break away from nature. Moreover, the location of the house is provided it, around the sea and the tall trees. And the house becomes a part of nature, like a house on a tree. An interesting detail the house is an iron staircase, which is located outside the home and extends diagonally across the facade.
